The following are the requirements for debt listing on the Malawi Stock Exchange;

1. The company must be duly incorporated.
2. The company must be in compliance with the laws of the country in which they were incorporated.
3. Authorised to issue debt securities according to the requirements in the Memorandum and Articles of Association.
4. The company must obtain all necessary statutory and other consents for the issuance e.g. consent from the Board of Directors, Reserve Bank of Malawi (where required).
