First Trades On Debt Securities

The MSE registered first trades on one of the debt securities issued by MyBucks banking Corporation. The traded nominal value of MK10 million on debt security NFB03 was traded at a premium price of MK100.2026. This means that the sellers realized a capital gain of MK0.2026 per MK100.00 of the nominal value traded on top of the coupon payments at the rate of 10.5% per quarter. Investing in debt securities
accords investors with periodic payments called coupons (interest) at pre-determined times for the entire period of holding the security.
