MZINGA INCUBATION PROGRAM HOSTS FIRST 2025 QUARTERLY MEETING

The Mzinga Incubation Program, an initiative by the Malawi Stock Exchange (MSE) to nurture
and prepare high-potential enterprises for capital market readiness, held its First Quarterly
Meeting of 2025 on 4 April 2025 at Protea Ryalls Hotel, Blantyre.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including incubation participants,
corporate advisors and capital market professionals, to reflect on progress, share insights
and strengthen collaboration within the program.

The session opened with remarks by Mr. John Robson Kamanga, CEO of the Malawi Stock
Exchange, who reaffirmed MSE’s commitment to supporting early-stage enterprises in
building sustainable, growth-oriented businesses.

Participants and corporate advisors presented progress reports, highlighting the milestones
achieved since the program’s launch and outlining key areas of focus for the coming months.
This was followed by an insightful presentation on “The Role of Transaction Advisors During
the Listing Process” delivered by Mr. Kenneth Mmadi, General Manager of Continental
Capital Limited. His session emphasized the critical advisory support required for businesses
transitioning toward public listing.

Another key highlight was a demonstration of the Automated Trading System (ATS) by Mr.
Douglas Nyirenda, Senior Operations and Compliance Officer at MSE. The demo provided
participants with practical insights into how trades are executed and monitored on the
platform, fostering greater understanding of post-listing processes.

The meeting concluded with a vibrant discussion session, allowing for open engagement
between incubates, advisors and MSE professionals. In her closing remarks, Mrs. Kelline
Kondowe, Chief Operating Officer of MSE, encouraged participants to remain committed to
the program, emphasizing its long-term vision of developing viable enterprises capable of
accessing capital through the stock market.

The quarterly meeting reaffirmed MSE’s strategic role in building a pipeline of future listed
companies, driving economic development and promoting inclusive growth through capital
market access.
