UNIVERSITY OF BLANTYRE SYNOD STUDENTS VISIT THE MALAWI STOCK EXCHANGE

On 9 April 2025, the Malawi Stock Exchange (MSE) hosted students from the University of Blantyre Synod for an educational visit. The session began with welcoming remarks from MSE CEO Mr. John Robson Kamanga, followed by a speech from student representative Ms. Chikondi Kachepa. Mrs. Mary Chipofya Chikaonda, MSE's Business Development Officer, then delivered a comprehensive presentation on stock market operations.

Students actively participated, with Mr. Aaron Banda presenting on the process of buying and selling shares and performing a creative play titled "Trading Like a Game," using bottles filled with maize, rice and mealie meal to illustrate trading concepts. Ms. Chikondi Mbwana also performed a poem titled "Mr. Money."

A Q&A session followed, and the event concluded with votes of thanks from Mr. M. Thipa, a lecturer from the University of Blantyre Synod, closing remarks and a group photo.
