STRENGTHENING CORPORATE GOVERNANCE FOR GROWTH - WEBINAR

The Malawi Stock Exchange (MSE) successfully hosted a
webinar titled “Strengthening Corporate Governance for
Growth” on Friday, 15th August 2025.

The session was led by Mrs. Kelline Kondowe, Chief Operating
Officer of MSE, and attracted a diverse audience of business
leaders, potential issuers and capital market stakeholders.


The webinar underscored the strategic importance of corporate governance in
building investor confidence, attracting capital and fostering sustainable
business growth. Mrs. Kondowe provided a comprehensive overview of
governance frameworks aligned with MSE listing requirements, highlighting key
principles such as board effectiveness, transparency and regulatory
compliance.


Participants engaged actively through a moderated Q&A session, reflecting a
shared commitment to strengthening governance practices within their
respective institutions. The event reinforced MSE’s role as a catalyst for ethical
