The Malawi Stock Exchange on 10th October
2025 hosted a business breakfast at Ryalls
Hotel in Blantyre, which brought together
stakeholders from the capital markets, financial
services and private sector for a morning of
inspiration, networking and innovation.
The event began with welcoming remarks from
Mr. John Robson Kamanga, Chief Executive
Officer of Malawi Stock Exchange. This was
followed by a speech from Mr. Kenneth Mmadi,
General Manager at Continental Capital Limited
and a member of the Mzinga Incubation
Program Technical Committee.
Mr. Mayamiko Mbendera, Corporate Finance
Transaction Officer at NICO Capital Limited,
represented the Corporate Advisors in the
program, delivering a speech that emphasized
the importance of financial guidance and strategic
support for emerging businesses. These
introductions set the tone for a dynamic showcase
of entrepreneurial talent.
Six incubate companies; Agro Input Suppliers
Limited, Combine Cargo, Nagowa Finance Limited,
Unified Technologies Limited, Wealthnet
Finance Limited and Ziweto Enterprises Limited,
presented their pitches during a focused
session, each highlighting innovative and viable
business models.
Participants enjoyed a well-rated breakfast
experience and a vibrant networking session,
which allowed for deeper engagement and
potential collaborations. Feedback from attendees
emphasized the value of the pitches, the
quality of organization, and the opportunity to
connect with new entrepreneurial talent. The
event successfully introduced many attendees to
a deeper understanding of the business of
incubation participants, underscoring Mzinga’s
growing impact in spotlighting businesses in
Malawi.
